Mid week I took a few drill bits and tried the shanks in the rear cross member holes for the mud flaps. 8mm was nice and snug. Went on ebay and bought some M8 round rivnuts. WRONG! Turned up on Friday and I went out to try one in
Way too big, did't think that through! Got down and had a look and of course the holes are hexagonal too.
I've googled and think the hexagonal rivnuts are part number STC1726, but no one shows an image. Google images shows apartments in Spain, graphs and some valves!
Don't want to get the donkeys ears on again, by buying the wrong ones a second time!
