Parking Sensors Stop working and light around gear box

Hi All,

Today at one point my parking sensors stopped working and the light around the gear box (P,R,N,D) not lighting anymore on my L322 04'.

I have checked the sound on front sensors and I can hear it however as if I can't hear it on the rear.

Also I've washed my car and any dirt off the sensors and nothing yet. strange that the light on the gear box is off.

Everything is is fine, can drive and transition is great.

let me know your thoughts.

also for these small issues I would love to have a small diagnostics tool that I can check and use at home rather than always going to the trusted garage. any recommendation?

You cannot be Series-ous?

Be nice, AJ has a Freelander, thus clearly has bigger issues in life.

Unless it looks vaguely like this and has leaf springs, it's not a Landrover, it's a Freelander, or some derivative thereof. Freelanders are made by a Tata motors division called JLR.



Other names for freelanders are:
Defender
Range rover
Evoque
Discovery

They either have springs shaped like pig tails, or air bags. Fine machines when working, but you need to be rich to keep them going.

Very aware. Not bothered. I've three. And two 2a.

2a are cool, not as cool as s2, but still cool nevertheless.
Tbh s3 would be alright if it was not for that plastic dash affair.

Only one of mine has a plastic dash, I like the plastic dash.
