Paintjob/respray, how much??

Hi folks, just a quick 1

Anybody got a rough idea how much a respray costs these days. The panels are in fair/good condition. Just a few places where the paint has chipped or a bit rust coming through. Its a Series 3 SWB, Blue, and only need the blue bits, not the cream hard top done.

£200 - £2500 is the answer to your question. with bodywork you get what you pay for, spend £200 cash and you'll get paint thrown on top of the panels you've got with minimal prep and very little flat+polish afterwards. spend £2500 and you'll get all the panels blocked smooth, any rectification work done, primed properly, painted properly, and flattened + polished to a mirror finish, you'll also get a warrenty with the work, some bodyshops are offering upto a 10 year warrenty against paint defects with paintwork.

put your paint pot in some warm water, mix it, put on with brush

job done.
