Paint - Finishing Touches

After various attempts, ive finally got a paint finish i can live with - at least till i back her out of the garage lol - doesnt gloss black show up the dents and poor preparation!! My question is, do i leave it plain and just splatter it with mud, or splash out on new county stickers etc to make it look original? (i stripped her down cos the paint finish when i bought it was crap and all the stickers were peelin off)

Your expert opinions would be appreciated

leave it plain - them County stickers look pants

point taken - now its in the open I can see a couple of bad runs on the drivers door - any advice on whether its possible to rub them down and poish them out?

may be possible
start with some 1200 grade wet & dry (gently and don't get carried away) then some rubbing compound, then T Cut then wax - be patient and take your time.

good rule is............the more paint yer put on the easier it is to rub the ****e out and buff it.

and a obvious thing is,always use a block and be vera vera gentle or you will end up havin to spray whole door agin...

there is the other option, as long as its goes and stops who give a turd what it looks like.

thanks for all yout suggestions - im going to leave it to fully harden for a few weeks then "get round to it later"!

It looks really great.

You can come up here anytime and spray my lightweight for me.

Green would be nice I think.
