FOUND the Problem ,after considering all the possibilities,and agonising over gearbox removal,new front pulley and various other possibi;ities that it cou;ld be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! IT HAS THROWN A FAN BLADE!!!!!!!
That would do it!

Thinking about it I put a new fan on mine which cured the getting hot with the tin tent up hills only for it to throw two blades on holiday in Norfolk made a hell of a vibration thought the engine was screwed, ended up cutting a blade of the other side to try and balance it out so we could get home.

Yes,mine was only abou 18 months old. snapped clean off .fortunately didnt damage the rad.
