Shame the number plate is ****ed:eek:

its was tricky as it was the first rangie i owned as i DO like the jap stuff lol
i would have liked to make it into a monster offroader but it was too good for that, number plate now fixed lol screw fell oot
it was one of them jobs you think is easy but plenty of fibreglass, and swearing and late nights to get it right, most parts i bought from ebay
so now its done hopeing to sell it soon, i want a onld shape rangie for offroading to bobtail and make it a beast thats what i,m good at! lol
cheers peeps, you wouldnt belive how many landrover forums i joined for help and advice but got no help, if you want to do this to your p38 dont be shy i will help ya, #
i have fitted a full black leather trim, took out the old tan coloured one didnt like it, has had new air shocks all round, brand new clutch, 2.5td manaul hard to find these now, just done a service on it thats a hell of a job like, lol

Looks really good, what was involved in the front end.

was there much fibreglass involved> did the headlights bumper etc fit without altering the wings and bonnet

Thinking of doing mine when i get it on the road

you still got the tan leather?

i'm after paasenger seat leather!!! just the base covering, not worried about rest of seat, let me know what you have:D:D:D

very good job although i like the p38 as it is.

the front bumper needs lots of fabracation as do the front lights, wings, grill its not a case of old ones out and new ones in, the bumper, is more rounder than the 38 so cutting to fit aswell as having to make the sides out of fibreglass as the wont meet the wings, grill had to be chopped 30mm i think it was, lights had to cut the old light surrounds out of the car to fit the lights and had to mod the rear lights so they would go in, wings had to be chopped for the indicators to fit along side the lights, ( lights were hard to wire up but will look at the colour scheme if wanted)
even the side vents didnt go in easy, rear bumper is cut into 4 bits and fibreglassed allover lol had the make the ends out of mesh gorze and then smooth, rear lights too 3-4 days to make alot of cutting not for the faint harted, tip.. when fitting the bumpers use the old suppot and chop then down to suit new ones wont fit

sorry tan leather went on ebay,

These conversions make you realise how little the designers actually changed the P38 to create the L322.

Matt
P.S. Definitely persuaded it's time to sell the P38!

Sounds too damn hard for me then

You must have a lot of patience, i take my hat off to you i am very impressed

Or was it one of those jobs that once you have started then it is like catching a tiger by the tail

You are in it to win it all the way to the bitter end

i,m known for makeing 4x4,s diffrent all kids of 4x4,s, i hate being told you cant do that or that wont fit so i like to show people it can be done, lol
yes it was difficult and yes pain the in the arse.. but worth it!

Hi mate, been wanting to attach an Airbus 380 wing (vertically) on top of a mates bling RR 'cos he thinks it will be more effective and far more bling than a sharks fin antenna. I told him it can be done but he may lose traction on the front wheels. What do you reckon is the best way to overcome the traction problem?
