P38 Tracking???????????

Guys,

Took my P38 Range into Kwik fit, then ATS to try and get the tracking done, due to a slight pull to the left. Both garages told me the same ..." Your tracking is fine"; After they put the four wheel alignment gauges on the wheels. However nothing has changed as I still have a slight pull to the left when I let go of the steering wheel?!!! Any ideas guys??!! Its driving me round the bend !!!

Also another quick one, does anyone know if the L322 steering wheel will fit the p38 with some sort of boss kit as I have been offered one very cheap?!

Check your tyres for even ware, and the pressures too, could be to do with the steering or wheel linkages, but try the free options first

put it up in the air at the front,( wheels off the ground, not touching anything, in other words jack it, don't put it on ramps!! i know its obvious but you never know.........) square the steering wheel to canter, now have a look at the alignment of the front wheels, are they true??

One or two of your front brake caliper pistons may be sticking, I had similar problem, found a bit of rust on one of the pistons, changed them, straight as a die.

Old pikey solution .. let some air out of front right tyre.
