had range rover into indie in preston . they checked it and put on the report , fault caused by left hand valve block closed cleared dtc,s system now ok then at the bottom if fault re appears vehicle will need a new vave block any ideas
 
yer me too? Sounds like they just have read the codes rather than sorting. Valve blocks can be overhauled these days. What was your problem? could just be a sensor or leak somewhere.
 
No such fault. Which one did you take it to? Likely to be LHF or LHR valve stuck shut. Which basically means the ECU has commanded a movement no movement has taken place so ECU thinks a valve is shut.

the problem was all the lights came up it wouldnt do any thing eas fault on on dash so garage l bought it off recovered it took it to independent landrover in preston and that cis what ti said on sheet. have got cable but we are busy moving house so when we have moved will check it out on cable with lap top

Did you take it to the one in Murry street?
 
Yes Dammers they did ,will see how it goes we are moving this weekend so won't have time to do anything will post when I've tried to see if codes are re appearing, just done Preston to Liverpool ride is best its ever been .
