Hi everyone,

I'm going to replace the shocks in my 2.5 DHSE. She is comming up to 100K miles, and I think the old girl deserves a new set. I am considering either Bilstein or Monroe replacments.
The car is my daily driver - mix of A/B roads, and occasional green-laning at the weekends.

Any views/opinions on either the Monroe or Bilsteins? Or any other recommendations?

Thanks

Davy

PS - I have a strange resonant buzzing vibration at about 2500 RPM - I can't locate it. Has anyone else see this?

Does it sound like its coming from inside?? I had a kind of buzzing that would show at around 2000-2500rpm and it was because when I replaced the lights in the facia switches (cruise control buttons etc) I hadn't put the panel back properly in someway (maybe a wire got caught against something and carried the vibration through to the panel). It drove me nuts for about a week until I had the whole facia out again and put it all back very carefully checking everything was as it should be and my buzzing dissapeared.
