P38 Rear anti-roll bar - aftermarket

There doesn't seem to be any retailers that sell rear anti-roll bar for P38A.

Does anyone know how to get one? Second-hand or new?

This is not a standard part, but this will improve on-road handling, and because I am thinking of buying Arnott springs, then the anti-roll bar would complement them really well.

I have already tried Bearmach, Overfinch, JE Engineering and a few others, but they stopped making them several years ago.

Thanks guys. Extreme 4X4 never offered me advice on using Discovery kit, but you never know.

Why would you need a rear anti roll bar on a P38. Are you thinking of racing it or using it as a getaway car for bank jobs? Simply not needed otherwise.

Some do like to play Keith.

Occasionally I drive it enthusiastically on the roads - the steering feels nice, but the rear feels loose. I think the rear ARB will make the rear match the good front end feel.

I'm not a getaway driver, but I am a full IAM member, so this means I like to 'make good progress' on the roads occasionally.

Making good progress is one thing. Driving like a prat because you have some sort of qualification is quite another. Driven normally there is nothing wrong with the handling of a P38.

A big I AM Thought about the panhard rod and trailing arm bushes not to mention the shocks?

Lol I've done both IAM and ROSPA and Admittedly the first are a bunch of old cowboys the second well put it this way its the background to poilice training .
I don't know if that speaks for itself of not nowadays

Police drivers are dreadful these days, trouble is they think they are the greatest
Police driver training was around long before ROSPA came into being.

Yea i guess the cars are faster nowadays, and the thiefs are even more fearless and determined than ever .

Nothing to do with the cars being faster, they ran Daimler Darts, Lotus's and Cortina's to rally spec in my youth.
It's the standard of training that has declined along with an attitude problem, most of them thinking they can emulate Starsky & Hutch

I was more pointing out the thiefs side of the story most didn't nick super fast cars like nowadays .

Since plod has access to similar cars and helicopters, I don't see how the vehicles come into it. It's the poor driving standard I'm on about.

It's not the plod that's the problem, it's some idiot who has taken an advanced driving test after maybe driving for a couple of years, then thinking they are qualified to "Make good progress" to the extent that they want to modify a perfectly acceptable vehicle driven normally, to allow them to exercise their new found talents on public roads. Sorry but i find that sort of conceited attitude unacceptable. And bloody dangerous.
