P38 RANGE ROVER BTR9020SMK DIFFERENT HOLE CENTRES COMPARED TO HJA100540SMK

Anyone replaced their drivers seat switch pack lately ?
I ordered HJA100540SMK to replace my existing HJA100540SMK and was sent an old stock BTR9020SMK but when I came to fit it, the fixing hole centres are about an inch too far apart on the BTR9020SMK part compared to the original HJA100540SMK.
Basically if you fit the front screw into the front nylon insert then the rear does not line up with the rear nylon insert and vice versa. The rear plastic turret fouls the reclining seat mechanism besides which I don't want to start drilling holes in the seat base frame, but that might be the only option.
BTR9020SMK was superseded by HJA100540SMK but they are definitely not identical.

Hmm, I have 3 of the centre switch panels, a 95, a 99 and a 2000, they all look the same, I'll go check.

You need to order new holes.... oh look there's my coat...
