So there's been a car alarm going off all day since 7.30am, looked out the window and couldn't see any lights flashing to identify the culprit, so i just took to cursing the bufoon that owns the offending vehicle, hoping that they eventually shut it up.

Yep, that's right, it's mine, noticed the interior light is on, but no flashing indicators, all doors and windows are secure, yet it screams away, anyway, just excuse me while i go outside and batter it with a big stick!!!

Happened to mine. Although I couldn't hear the alarm as mine sounds like a drowned duck! Display kept telling me alarm triggered.

Forget the battery, just pull the plug on the alarm horn under the fusebox. That's what I did with mine after too many embarrassing moments. Never actually got to the bottom of what was causing it; praps will do one day....

I've got a better idea, take battery off, give it a good charge, then fix the problem, put it all back together, enter codes, and away you go, simples.
