P38 panel bulbs not working

For some reason none of the switch warning lights (around the display screen) work (air con, heated seats etc). The screen itself is fine and the switches themselves work, but no warning lights. Have had the car 7 years and they have never worked and it hasn't bothered me before, but then the air con stopped working. Fixed it but it has stopped again. I suspect a leak - but that isn't the the reason for post - I think I will find that - the difficulty is that, because the light on the air con switch doesn't work, I don't know if the air con is on or not. Does anyone know a reason why all these the switch lights do no work? I can't believe they have all failed. Thanks chaps.

Yep, all failed or a bad connection in the HEVAC.

Thanks for getting back to me - but I thought the HEVAC was heating etc - is there a feed to the bulbs or am I misunderstanding? Excuse my ignorance if it's a daft question.....

I guessed from your description that you were talking about the Heater control switches?
