Nohere’s a thing.
This truck is on springs!
Could that trigger the ABS/TC dash lights?
It’s in the WABCO D section on my nanocom?

I'm not sure what's going on there but something isn't right.Nanocom EDC, WABCO
Pics of ABS sensors. Gently tapped in and seated with a copper mallet.
The connections have been cleaned and where they should be.View attachment 341708View attachment 341709View attachment 341709View attachment 341708
It does indeed and the sensor does not look like it's anywhere near the reluctor ring.Even the CV joint looks wrong ?? Usually the hub obscures that.
No that assembly looks right to me.I'm not sure what's going on there but something isn't right.
I can't remember but that doesn't look like the right location.
You shouldn't see the ABS ring and the sensor should be mm away not cm's

My Thor has them in little copper lattice/basket tubes as well.My ABS sensors go into a little mesh bush which sits almost flush with the hole. Is that a rubber bush on yours? Maybe the Thor was different.
Both my diesels have the copper/beryllium carriers for the sensor. My Thor has them in little copper lattice/basket tubes as well.

Look at his second pic and I think you can see a little bit of copper showing. Both my diesels have the copper/beryllium carriers for the sensor.
No, they do sit in a copper mesh bush. The rubber just sits on top but hasn't stop the sensor bedding down.My ABS sensors go into a little mesh bush which sits almost flush with the hole. Is that a rubber bush on yours? Maybe the Thor was different.
Check the switches with a multimeter. Also check the ABS ECU inputs for 12V when you press & release the pedal. Look through the RAVe diagram for the most convenient points.
You could also try the other ECU inputs. Several of them show the brake pressed status (EAS, BECM, Cruise).
For the purpose of this diagnosis which of the settings should I try to discover the ABS-TC fault?start up settings there is a list of options:
I Key in, turn to light up dash then ABS failure and Traction failure messages, windows not set, sunroof not set...When a fault occurs the abs ecu always logs it into its memory. It then tells the BECM that it has an active fault. The BECM then instructs the instrument cluster to turn on the ABS/TC lights and display the messages.
So if there is a fault the abs controller wont instruct the BECM to indicate a fault without the first logging one in its memory.
So the conclusion i make from the fact that you have no stored faults but still have warning lights is that there is a connection issue between your ABS controller and BECM.
Does the dash display the the ABS failure and Traction failure messages immediately after turning on the ignition or after starting the engine or after driving for abit?
I want to disconnect the battery and gently clean all connectors on the BECM, I have a small copper wire brush and contact cleaner. The white calc residue that forms on old connectors needs to be removed me thinks? When a fault occurs the abs ecu always logs it into its memory. It then tells the BECM that it has an active fault. Any white residue will cause problems.I want to disconnect the battery and gently clean all connectors on the BECM, I have a small copper wire brush and contact cleaner. The white calc residue that forms on old connectors needs to be removed me thinks?
Windows not is what you get after the battery has been disconnected and is normal.I Key in, turn to light up dash then ABS failure and Traction failure messages, windows not set, sunroof not set...
So, the windows, sunroof etc are physically closed but the BECM is not getting that input as well!
