P38 Needed For TV Appearance

Apparantly the producers of Scrapheap Challenge are looking for ropey Classics to be in the background while a group of bakers take the rear diff off of an upside down Transit van in order to make a biofuel powered food processor. Any offers?

I can't wait to see
a) How much they pay for one
and
b) How much they get for it.

I'm gonna assume that it'll be the usual 5 grand budget but you can buy a 'good' (use the term loosely) late P38 for that, X or Y reg. I wait with anticipation although mine will have died and interest will have waned by then lol.

Very glad that a LRZ member got the call, there are other forums based in the UK but Wheeler Dealer chose this one.

i love wheeler dealers and they can fix mine up for me if they like, i know the engine is good!! ha!! and its lpg, i know how much ed likes lpg!!!

they can't sell it tho, i just want some free work doing!! lol!!!
 
just thought, it'll be really funny if they get into some of the issues we have all had!!! i'd like to see ed set about the becm lockout and the battery draining, and well we all know the issues!!

if ed needs any advice then he knows where to come!!
 
i have a p38 dse thats just lovely. but youed have to push it there at the moment? autobox acting up? i could with ed to do some of that free work on it like he dose for mike!!!!!!!! whats mike got on poor ed? must be good or mike would be told were to go!

Your too late for free repairs. Anyway Ed China would have about as much chance of repairing a Rangie without his back up crew as you have of screwing Jennifer Aniston. :):):)
 
Has this been on yet?

I had the series -series linked on sky and it showed about 3 episodes and then wasnt on anymore.

they just put on "wheeler dealers re-visited" which is more or less a repeat :doh:
 
I've watched the Defender episode (quite good), the Discovery "expedition" episode (terrible!) and the RR Classic episode (average) but have not seen the P38 one yet!!

jennifer aniston was down here last week and she knows feckall bout autobox in p38s! shes ok on the newer modles.
