P38 N/S/F Door Issue

Hey Up Peepz,
Basically the passenger door is not staying open. I wondered if you could point me in the right direction of which bolt needs to be put back. The piece that is missing is in between the 2 hinges is a slot so the door isnt just just free to swing open and close as it wants when you open it.

I think it's called a check strap.

Cheerz pal. Yeah its the pin missing from there. Could i use a s/s bolt or is it a certain type thats needed?

Best bet would be to find someone breaking a P38 (loads on ebay) and email them for the part.

Stick a bolt in it for the moment to prevent the door straining or bending the hinges but expect some weird cracking noises as you open and close the door until you get the correct pin.
