This beautiful Monte Carlo Blue Vogue has been on and off all the well know auction sites for over 9 months

It apparently has been meticulously restored to factory condition....

I wonder if it's really worth over 7k for a car with 1/4 of a million miles under its belt!!

considering the fact there are low mileage original cars which are cheaper!!

Its got a stupid bonnet mounted figurine, a non-standard ICE install, non-standard exhaust, the seller can't spell nor can they use correct grammer.....it is over 200k miles, had engine issues, the centre console wood panels are not matched and badly fitted.....

And at almost £8k - wildly over priced for a non-limited edition (i.e. Overfinch, Linely, H&H etc) variant - good luck to them - worth around £2500 I'd say!

As below - the two woods of the upper and lower half don't match - different shades - and badly fitted....

The points that Ant picks up , ICE, etc, are part of the reason I dont understand people 'upgrading' their L322. In a few years those are the same points that will be picked up by those looking for a half decent L322 and rejecting vehicles due to. In 4yrs the Golden Girl will be a 20yr old Range Rover, like it or lump it, she will be vintage and join the Range Rover heritage. The L322 is getting very close to where there will be people who want to preserve/renovate them.
I want to keep mine as close to original as possible. That way one of two things will happen, I will hang on to her as she ages and have one of the cleanest, original vehicles around. Or at some point I will put her up for sale and purists will want her, because she has been kept original, rather than rejecting her because of 'upgrades'.
She will most likely fade away into the background , with me ;)

As the cars evolve, so do the people. Those of us who came up with more mechanical vehicles, look at electrickery as black magic. Those who have come up with vehicles over the last twenty years are versed in that black magic.
It's the same whatever the marque. Time marches on, as do skills. Someone from the 1920/1930s would have looked at 1980s vehicles, with their few electrics, as strange beasts. Those from the 1970/1980s find 21st Century vehicles strange beasts. It is what it is. :D

Agree 100% there are a select few people who specialise in refurbishing P38 electrical components MartyUK is a member on here that does just that.

I imagine it won't be long before people start refurbishing L322 electrics..

I plan to be buried in my Disco D1, or better yet, a "Viking" funeral Landy style.

In the case of the L322, ripping out the electronics and starting again might be the best option.

Not too far off, just needs 6k spending on it to get to showroom fresh ;)

Although to my credit she looks shinier than the 11k one and has higher specification, note Autobiography Wood and leather wheel in mine ahem.. ;)
