p38 key fob refurb

Hi i sent of my key fob for refurb to a fella on e.bay, the fob was a spare key i got with the motor which although would work in the ignition, that was it despite trying different things's new batteries key sync etc it still remained u/s. well i got it back today had to resync by putting in door lock etc, and now it works perfectly. Really pleased now have two key fobs both working, and the fella also sent two new spare batteries as well. All for under £30.00 figure it was worth a shot and on this occasion payed off. I have the name and address if anyone is interested.

ok just received my key back from mrsporty on ebay and great news, everything works as it should. quick turn around too.

You can buy the kits to do it yourself for less than a tenner. I'm planning on sorting mine out soon.

Followed the advice of landykyle and sent my inop spare key off to mrsporty. Received it back today and hay presto it now works perfectly. Excellent service and highly recommend,
