p38 key code

Hi people , I have a p38 wich needs the key code putting in , I've got the code but I can't find which way I need to turn the key in the door , I wopnder if anyone could help thanks ryan

The procedure differs according to year. Have you tried the owners manual?

Some MY's need 4 turns to the Left first....(Lock)...

Then enter the first digit by turning to the right and back to centre the req. number of times...

Then Left...for the Second No

Then Right....for the Thrid No

Then Left....For the Forth No

Then finally Right to unlock the door...put key in ignition and start the car!!

Hi guys , I've had another 9 attemps (30 mins beteen 3 sets ) and still no luck , I've tried another door station but no luck any ideas? When I turn the key each time the side light on the dash flashes I believe it is that ?

Are you starting with door locked?

You sure you have the correct EKA code? Try a PM to MOZZ SMITH, he's the guru on EKA code entry.

mine has issues taking the code. Start with the code e.g. 2 2 1 3 turn to lock the key twice - if the lights flash each time it is working. if it does not flash, leave for 10 mins then start with four turns to lock, then put the code sequence in.

make sure you turn the key and return only to the centre position, not too far over or it will register you putting the wrong code in.

keep trying, mine took around 20 goes last time

+1 on early one's without passive ingnition barrel
Only 1 lock turn not four to start

No need to wait, after two fails open door and close it, you have three more tries. Keep doing that and there is no waiting.

Try charging your battery. See my thread on EKA reset.
