Abit of help or advice needed guys...my p38 2.5 dse won't fire up...I'll be as clear as possible fuel going to the injector pump but not through to Injectors there's no air in the clear pipe it's been cracked and bleed countless Times still no fuel to Injectors
Just replaced the injection pump 4th injector crank shaft sensor wiring loom pump lift in the fuel tank...coolant temp sensor even stronger battery on it changed ecu over to new one (same code) and synced it up had it plugged in to nanocom and no faults are coming up except one about alarm system...cleared that replaced batterys in key and 're synced the key and still not firing up? Please please I'm all out of ideas and running out of patients with it anyone got any fresher ideas

It was cutting out every now and then and not starting again for few hours then all of a sudden it just cut out and never started again

This has no egr and no maf sensor

180k miles on the clock

MATE! Section you should be in is "Range Rover " with sub-type P38 just to give everyone who is expert on P38's a look at yr issue.........not Anything Goes.... this section is for P155 - taking and ripping people to shreds.

Stop solanoid is working and clicking also a whole 12v running to it also on my old pump I had bypassed it and still not working

As Datatek said check the stop solenoid we have had a few with that fault in the last few months, just be careful if you take it out that the plunger and spring don't go ping and end up god knows where.

ignore this then if its working.

So, if the stop solenoid is working, other possibilities are water or bacterial growth in the fuel, drop the fuel filter and look for either water or a slimy deposit and check that you have sufficient fuel flow.
If you look at live data with the Nanocom, you should also be able to check the modulation, should be 50% at warm idle (thanks Wammers) if it will run for long enough.

Do i take it you have changed the engine ECU? Go into EDC with Nanocom and read security code in ECU. Then go into BECM in diagnostic mode and check that the same code is stored in BECM. If not delete stored code and enter and write security code from ECM into BECM. Switch ignition on and wait for diagnostic mode message to go off. Turn ignition off then on and car should start.
