Hi,
Ive recently bought a P38 HSE and I have some problems with the electric seats. Here are some factors that I hope may help
1. The seat switch pack doesnt work on drivers side
2. Previous owner has tried to address this by wiring a stand alone switch to fuse terminals and seat motor to at least get forward and back motion on seat.
3. Passenger side also been re wired but all motors work correctly on that one.
4. I bought 2 used switch packs and installed multi plugs under seat and only the bladder switch works all others do nothing
5. The heated seat elements do not work on either seat
6. Have taken car to specialist for other work and he cannot get diagnostics from BECM ( he has tried installing a known good BECM with same effect)
7. Have checked fuses and all seem fine and no errors on dash
