p38 front prop

hi guys just a quick one does the sliding joint on a ( 96 p38 2.5 diesel manual)
front prop go to the axel or gearbox side as mine was missing thanks

Hi chip,

Sliding joint towards gearbox - slightly higher than axle end.
If it was the other way maybe grease would "flow downhill" out of the joint.
Mine is a 4.6

ha thanks for that i had to fit it today and was out and about so was unable to check but it was easy so i will spin it round tomorrow thanks for you help had to do it as the snow wont be long thanks again trukka
