P38 Drivers door lock

Hey folks,
I have a question some one might know about why my drivers door locks with the key and locks all the rest as well, but when locking with the key fob it only locks all the other doors and leaves the drivers door open.
Anybody know if this will be caused by the motor in the drivers door lock possibly not working?

Duff motor, broken wiring to the door, problem with the outstation. Most likely motor though.

Thats what I was suspecting, the motor part is on the bottom of the lock itself if I recall rightly.

I will hunt for a another motor now.

I think the rear locks use the same motor but are a lot less money to buy from flee bay than a front door lock. but take the door card off first then check or wiggle the wireing to the lock as some have corrosion on the connections as they lie in the bottom of the door fraim.

During the bad weather I have had the lock out and defrosted it due to -15 weather. I just wanted to be sure it was that little motor that was the lock unit controled by the ECU.
Thanks for the tip there about the back doors motor being the same I will drop it off when I get a chance and see if I can swap them, that would prove it first with out spending a fortune.
