P38 DIESEL poor/start runing follow on

This is really a follow on thread from my last post. I replaced all the feed pipe from the filter back to the tank (used clear pipe )bubbles were visible all the way back to the tank outlet.Removed pump/sender unit from tank .Only visible thing I found was tiny Hole on top of pump housing.Should this be there Help!
