Hi guys, another problem with p38, on idle it hunts quite badly, enough for it to try and pull away and rock the whole vehicle, also when driving at just under 2000 revs it really holds back and jerks whole vehicle quite violently if you hold those revs, all other rev range fine, all i have tried so far was to spray some easy start over all air hoses/ joints and manifold joints so find a possible air leak but did not make a difference, any help much appreciated

As with any engine hunting is caused by incorrect fuel air mix. Sounds like you may have a couple of sticky injectors. And Is your in tank pump working properly? To try a cheap fix run tank down to 1/4 full or less and stick a couple of bottles of injector cleaner in it. See what happens, that may help. Other than that fuel quantity control servo fault which is a whole other kettle of fish. Or bad connection to it.
