p38 dhse hk radio dead after being laid up, help please

Hello all.
I've had the rangie stored over winter and the battery died.
I charged it up, and then I had to resit all Windows, sunroof etc..
Thats all fine and the car runs well, but the stereo is dead! Won't switch on for me to put my code in..
Any ideas? I have checked the fuses under bonnet and under drivers seat, all seem okay.
It was working before it went into hibanation.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

I had similar....

When I went to take the Head Unit out by placing thin strips into the locking points, the unit all of a sudden burst into life...and I have no idea why, possible loose connection, try taking it out and wiggling the connections and see if that helps!!

Try a reset, remove the outer trim, next to the red led is a hole,press something small to reset. You will have to enter the code of course.

Any luck with a reset?
