Hi all I'm pulling my hair out with my p38 i purchased it with out it running with a suspected fuel plmp fault (high pressure pump) I tyred the solinoid on the top of the up as it did not click when I wired i directly wired to the positive terminal so i replace d with new one checked and all working fine but still did not gain fuel to the injectors at this point I decided to go all out and buy a pump after fitting I cracked off the injector pipes and turned over but nothing no fuel no bang nothing so I decided to pull the braided pipe of the first injector band it poured fuel out but non to the injectors are recivin fuel iv checked all I know but I'm out of ideas all help would be much appreciated as is doing my head in it also is facing up traction fault and engine disabled press fob to activate so I press key and it starts turning over again

It is more than likely out of sync. ECM security code has been lost from BECM. You will need diagnostics to reset it.

Just got a friend to come up with his fancy computer ;) and it's reading that the engine in immobilised where may the problem lie with this ?

If you have a dash message "Engine disabled" then it should NOT turn over. If it is turning over but not starting it is out of sync. And needs the security code in the ECM reading and writing into the BECM. Or you can spin it til new year and it will not start. Because without a matching code the ECM is switched off.

It is out of sync then as i said. You will need to use a diesel Syncmate or a diesel Nanocom to resync it. Look on the LZ map and see if there is anyone near you who can help. Unless you can borrow one or get someone to come and do it this is as good as it gets. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BeCM-Sync...hash=item5afa47d9bd:m:mrFhObonpv9SnOxmOY9Q2GA
