Was'nt sure about the anti freeze so I drained it off. Re filled but can't clear the air from the system. It's just bubbling at the header tank after about 2 hours and 4 gallons of antifreeze. I tried filling it from the top hose but that did'nt work either.
What's the secret?
 
I've left the top off the header tank and it just kept on bubbling. Left it for aound 20 minutes, the level only dropped if I gave it a bit of throttle. It seems like all I put in comes back out with interest. One thing for sure the top of the drive will never freeze, there's plenty of anti freeze on it.
Just thought, is there a bleed valve anywhere?
 
whats the temp guage at when its bubbling all over the place? if its had kseal in there before and you drain it any leaks will re appear
 
When its ticking over it,s just bubbling and when I touch the thottle it spews it out. The level drops and I put some more in
As I said ealier I have tried leaving it ticking over for about 20 minutes and nothing changes.
I'm not sure about the colour of the water but prior to this it was running fine
 
i would warm it up wiht top off, put top on and keep a eye on top hose for hardness, it should go firm but not bulge, also watch the temp dont let it go into the red, reason i asked for coulor of water was k sheeld or iron tite. is your oil ok? on dip stick also oil filler top no gunge?
