Kev1000s sweet looking ride, i will do the same when i get my p38. I just Import duties are going kill me. it like 70% the cost of the vehcile:mad:

By the way are your wheel 22"? i'll be looking for a set also.

PS leave the rr sport bumper out, i prefer this look:D

I think if you want a bling SUV, go and buy a Jeep. British SUV's are made for the rough stuff, so swap all that road crap and get some mudterrains, winch bumper and a snorkel. Then you will have a NICE P38.

Hi Kev1000s

That really does look great, did you do it yourself from scratch or was it a kit of some sort?, only i've seen something similar here:

Examples of our Vehicles : Rogersons (The red P38)

Kit is available on eBay from them for £2800 which is a bit steep!

I'm still umming and ahhing about getting a P38, but if I do go for it, i'd love mine done to look like a RR Sport.

Cheers, and nice work fella. It looks great.

starting mine noe cut everything back, rather than some conversion i seen where they had smashed the rear off light out to fit. know the wheel on the new wings looks set back but at right hight looks good. going to put the rear lights in as well

here is my old p38 ,

Hi yer thats what ive got how did you mount the front bumper did you have to weld the support bracket into place ?

Removed old bumper brackets, fitted bumper without crossmember first, then
Measured distance for crossmember and welded in ,
note, remove the steel slide out brackets from ends of origional bumper keep the white nylon blocks and screw them to the new bumper(some light trimming required, this will hold you bumper in place nicely so you can work on it , this only applies if you are using origional p38 wings and later bumper,

hi and yer thats what ive bought did the lights just drop in or do they need adjusting to get them to fit and did you fit the bumper before the lights or does'nt it matter thanks for your help cheers phil

Lights first, if you have the same lights as me , oh dear a proper tit to fit , but i had no info to go on.
Be aware wipers have to be romoved from headlights(keep trims on).
All protruding parts of headlights must be romoved, ie top mounting brackets, and anything that sticks out , these lights have to tuck under the slam panel to get the bonnet to close,

Headlight mounting erea , cut out all of the rear steelwork,
Then cut the lower panel away , the front will loose its rigidity at this point so you need to shape and weld in some metal, or as i have seen on here , smash it down with a hammer!!!.
I would suggest you offer up the headlight and do a bit at a time, i also had to trim the bottom of the headlights , but only fittings (not headlamp casing) ,
That should keep you busy for a couple of days ,;);)

Forgot
If you unplug the yellow air bag sensors , which you will need to move dissconnect battery , and make sure when you bolt sensors back on you have a good earth, or the dreaded air bag warning will occour,
