Mot on one of my flock failed on slight play in lower ball joint
I have done worse jobs in my life lol
fortunately I have an extensive workshop and equipment and some hydraulic bearing and hub pullers ,never done one before but didn't find it anywhere near as bad as I have read
pressing the old one out is the problem fitting the new one with the press and a frozen ball joint was easy
Much heat was required to press out the old one
I refitted the new one with it cold at -3 degrees C and the axle heated to 120 degrees c and she pressed in easy
My advice to any one trying this is to use a heavy duty hydraulic Bearing puller at the very least and the appropriate spacers and the correct use of heat and cold when fitting the new one
