Given him a number for a place very close to him that have parts and know a lot of local indies. Also offered him a place to leave it. I know nowt about series and have no parts.

it drive fine apart from 3rd to 4th , and the box is a little noisy when cold, u can here internals going round and round, sound like a bad bearing. peeeing me off

Thinks I might change the box, neva dun a p38 . Is it ok the change?

I bet u lot r fed up with me by now. Lol . Right then I found out today my p38 has a 5 speed box in I Did not no, lol, so anyway it's changing from 1 2 3 ok but when it go's from 3 to 4 it only stays in 4th gear for a second or two but sometimes it go's in and that's rare. Is it a easy fix or new box job? Also I have put aft dextron 3 oil in it, is that the right oil? Bloody thing

Are you not confusing the Torque Convertor Lock-up for an extra gear that doesn't exisit?

The 5 speed came in on the 2002-2005 L322 I thought???

Well I phoned a transmission company and gave him the Reg and he told me it's a 5 speed? I don't understand..

auto box in p38 is 4 speed

The man on the phone is wrong . It's got to b a 4 speed. U lads no what ur on about so I will leave it as that .So how can a resolve this problem with the torque converter? New box
