Can somebody give me an idea of whats going on with my Discovery 2. Up until tonight when somebody test drove my car to buy it she has been running fine, She's V8 Automatic Disco2 we drive her everyday and have no problems but from what i can figure out they were changing the gears from Drive to 3,2 and 1 and she overheated. I then took it for a drive as normal just in Drive and she didnt over heat just cooled down to the normal temp? I then also changed gear while driving and she started to overheat again. Is this a common problem or should the car just not be changed gear while driving?
