Hi guys just a quick question
Just been for a puncher repair and the guy tryed to sell me some "genuine p38 overfinch wheels"
But they were just hurracanes with painted spokes?
Is that all they are or im i missing somthing?
He wanted £500 which i would pay if the tires were any good but they looked like they maybe have 6 months of life left in them

That is all Overfinch wheels were. Obviously easy to make your own. IIRC, Holland and Holland only painted a small section on their wheels. It was when Overfinch went for tasteful mods, rather than chrome to appeal to Magpies.

So not worth the £500 then? Bearing in mind the tires are near done!
No. You can make your own just be getting the same colour paint as your P38 and spraying them in the same fashion.

They are worth the same as any set of 18" P38 alloys. A dash of paint doesn't make them worth £500 in my books.

just been looking at a set of hurracanes on ebay there are in a poor state, peeling curb ect
anyway there at £50 so was thinking of buying them and repainting them! now was thinking overfinch style but maybe abit differant
thinking green car=green spokes, but doing the rims maybe gold?
as thats the landy logo colours and i think gold goes well on green
any comments/sugestions?
go on i can take it lol

Overfinch did do wheel option upgrades for the P38 but not until the 630R Anniversary package came along in 2001/2002.

otherwise they just tarted up the Hurricanes.

The 630R wheels were very nice - 18-inch five-spoke with hex bolts around the outside to look like split rims, or 20-inch 'turbine' items with lots of spokes like a Mercedes SL55 AMG
