:5bparty: Back to the Mother Country from 16th December until around 24th January and will have the box of tricks with me.

Unfortunately, I will have very limited, or no internet access during that time.

Two very good members and friends, J the Range and Gemsdad however have kindly agreed to pass my contact details on to anyone who may require a "Dig Out". If you need to talk to me, please send a PM to either of those guys.

I would have preferred a 20year old blonde with a sexy voice, but unfortunately she wanted paying:eek: so had to call on the "Last of the Summer Wine" people from the Landyzone North West region:violin::tea:

not wishing to Burst yer bubble here but THAT ^^^^^^ HORRID program was filmed in YORKSHIRE & has bugger all to do with us Lancastrians..

Having said that yer know yer always welcome in Blackpool fer a brew mate

Keith

Holmfirth methinks to be precise.

Mental similarity of the characters just seemed to spring to mind !!

Should I have referred to "Boys from the Black Stuff" instead ?? I am not even going there when it comes to deciding who is Yosser out of your gang !!
Mind you, the striking similarity between Jim Royle's love of chocolate biscuits and a certain "J" immediately springs to mind:D

If you are going by car, take your survival kit, would that be Jamesons? and snow chains, looks like you will need both:eek:

Good old Jamesons is a known good anti-freeze.
Might need the chains 'cos we are going over in the Vectra.

On a different note, have to go up to N. Yorkshire, close to Darlington in January (Travelling from the West Midlands). I have heard that the A1 has road works and delays, how true is that. Is it worth while going up the M6 and accross the A66 to Scotch Corner ??

I refer my right honourable colleuge to the Battle of Bosworth Field 22nd August 1485 (approx 10:30 AM) ....

We came, We Fought, We Kicked some Arse!!! & the "Yorkies" ran back to York with their Ball....Coz they didn't wanna play anymore

I rest my case !!!

i believe this battle was handbags at ten paces between you northern lot.. and its still north of the M4,:D

Update...There MAY be a chance the Sister will have broadband as she has switched from Sky back to cable.
Won't know until we get there....If it works I'll post an update........If not, just like to wish everyone on here (Even the Wa*kers !!) all the best for Christmas and the New Year:5bparty::beer2::beer2:

Off to pack the motor ready for the ferry tonight, so it's goodbye from him and goodbye from her.

Have a good one everybody and keep between the ditches!!
