Hi all, after my 2000 Disco TD5 got totalled by some clown not paying attention I've bought myself a nice 2003 model with the insurance payout. The problem is that there's a slight rumbling/vibration throughout the rev range. I've all but cured the problem at high speed/revs by removing the viscious fan which was shot, but still have the problem at low mid revs. I had it into the garage today to check bearings, bushes and engine mountings but the only wear we found was about 1-2mm of movement in the front output shaft. I'm not sure if this excessive so replies would be appreciated. The other problem is that the three amigos come on every now and then when I start the car, turning off and back on again cures the problem but I thought the lights could only be turned off with a diagnostic reader as was on my 2000 model. I've read through a lot of posts to try and find some answers but would like some one just to put my mind at rest. Many thanks to all the members who take the time out to help others.
