Just got sent this, it's unreal!

"Did you know that recent government legislation changing the freedom of
information act gives you access to speed camera offences - registered in
the last twelve months and placed on a freely accessible website? Did you
also know that everytime your car goes a mile or so over the limit - it is
registered and placed on the database?
You only get a ticket if you are 10% + 2mph over the limit or if you receive
20 near misses! You can now check how many you have against your cars
registration number.
Go to this website - www.e-database.co.uk
it will ask you for a password - but just click on the need a login button
and you'll be given one on the pop up window.
On the right there is a click-on button which even shows the picture taken."

Sod ;-) Got me there for a moment - I was in the Cambridge area last
week (in the Astra), it wasn't until I checked the Landy's reg. (not
been out in it for a couple of weeks due to a transmission problem) and
got the same data that I clicked on the picture and got my heart rate
back down.

I got the impression it was a windup when it informed me that my SIIa
2.25 had been clocked at 81.2mph. Considering I've never managed to
break the national speed limit with it......

It was late and the data showed 37.1 in a 30, I should have spotted that
it wasn't a .gov.uk site though :)

Just checked 81.7 mph in Cleveland, funny that I was on M6 Birmingham flat
out at 56mph in a 44footer at the time. Photo was a good likeness.
