A mate of mine is looking for military vehicles, preferably armour, to
buy or rent for an airsoft game (the world's largest ever so far, with
about 1200 participants) next summer. Budget is about £5000-10000 per
vehicle, on the whole, but it all depends on the vehicle. The cheaper
the better, as long as they work.

Does anyone have any ideas on where to look?

Cheers!

Yer average tracked APC costs about £7,000, if tracked vehicles are
OK. Many military surplus stores that also deal in vehicles can sell
things like Ferrets (which are wheeled vehicles) within that price
range. Proper military hardware is quite cheap, probably much cheaper
than an armoured civilian truck.

Don't follow any of those links I posted then, on one page that I
reached from one of the posted links there was an ex-REME stalwart
with swim kit and hi-ab hydraulic arm fitted! What a lovely thing to
have ;-)
