Orange Engine light

Hi guys. Just bought my L322 the other day and all was fine untill today. I thought i'd check all the levels as i had just bought the car and the coolat level was on the minimum. I wasn't sure what anti freeze to get just yet so i just topped her up with water. Soon after doing so the orange engine light is now on?

Im assuming this is related to topping up the coolant without a 50/50 mix?? To much of a coincidence otherwise.

Or is it most likely something else?

We drive very clever cars but i would not think your L322 has a remotest idea what antifreeze mix is in the system. I would not think they can detect coolant mixture.

No i agree. I mean't that i thought it just detected no or less anti freeze rather than an exact mix lol.
Which is probably just as daft
