One of my interior lights wont go out

I recently brought another disco 1 300tdi and im having a few electrical issues.

Firstly none of the interior lights worked which i found was the fuse had been removed.

After I put a new fuse in the lights now work but the rear dome light wont turn off.

The front one works fine including the switch and turns off after a few seconds of me closing the door, but the rear one remains on. Ive done some reading could this be an MTU problem?

Also my central locking doesnt work. Even when im in the car and push the leaver down it doesnt work. I have to lock all the doors individually.

Hi. Just maybe the lamp switch is faulty and so is permanently on.
If CL isn't working via the drivers door lock then maybe the actuator within the door is not working ie disconnected in someway, again just a maybe.

You were spot on, the lamp at somepoint in its life had got water into it and had seized the switch.

Just take the bulb out, sorted.
