one for wammers or datatek

Alright guy,s i have managed to get some hot air through the car now,but i have another problem,when i put water in expansion tank when i rev the car up to 2000 rpm for awhile with the cap off,the water starts to rise as if it going to overflow,but when i sqeeze bottom hose a few times it starts to bubble then drops back down again,done this quite a few times now and it always drops back down always bubbling,have you,se any idea,s on that,also when car is just idling there is always bubbles inthe expansion tank is this normal,cheers pat

Air lock. Take the small pipe off the top of the rad VERY carefully don't break the tube in the rad, make sure it is free of any blockage, blow through it to clear out any coolant. Make sure it and the outlet pipe from the rad are clear. That is the air bleed pipe that lets air out of the system. If you still have problems. Have you changed the thermostat? If so you may have got the bleed hole in the wrong place it MUST be towards top to bleed air from head. Just keep running car and burping hose and see what you get.

Didn,t mean for it to come over like that tomcat,its just that when i have had problem,s before its mostly wammers and data that answer and they are very noligable,so i like to hear what they have to say
