As the weather's got a colder in the past few weeks, I've come out in the morning two or three times to a flat battery in my 2003 TD6 (blower motor final stage resistor was replaced yesterday so hopefully that's a thing of the past!) .
Every time after I jump start it, the info display says 'Air Suspension Inactive', it goes when the ignition's switched off/on again. This is a fault I never see when the battery's got a bit of charge in it.
The battery's fairly new (110ah Varta Silver Dynamic) so proves that just having a decent battery fitted is no guarantee of a steady voltage which might be upsetting the electronics

Cheers bigdel

I had an aftermarket dvd player and digital tuner with interface fitted and rhe fault started shortly after that!

Ive had the company( source sounds) bi pass rhe install and i am hoping that may be it.
Hopefully they have ****ed something up that can be rectified

Fingers crossed

The batteries on these L322's are like our pensioners.
The first bout of cold weather & they die.

Keeping in mind that in the winter months these cars are using full load for the heaters, wipers, lights, heated seats etc etc.
It's always worth replacing with the biggest quality battery you can fit in the space.

Thanks,
Its a brand new high out put 950 amp battery.
Got the battery replaced free of charge by steelers under a recall.

Just need the temperature to drop again tonight to test, when i start up after car being stood for 16 hpurs or so that the fault does not appear now that i have had I C E bipassed

Thank foook

Had car back at steelers today!
Fault on suspension now not intermittent but there nearly all time on das display.

Deelers had car in bits looking for a wiring fault as one of ride height sensors was only sending 9. 5 volts to the ecm.

Turns out its the ignition switch on centre console.
Its had some fizzy pop on it .
And it was taking 12 volts but only giving out 10

Thus causing an x ref fault .
