on my way to the UK

Hi all,

I've been lurking here for quite a while. I am coming to the UK from Canada next week and looking for the biggest and best shops to walk around and be amazed by. I am willing to travel anywhere in the country for the best selection of parts on display. I am also looking for a good wreckers for interior parts and possibly some doors if the price is right. I am based in the south east but have a car to get me around. any suggestions for a Defender geek?

well disappointed one will be.Try an introduction get to know some of the boys usually the small places have best bargains and best gear instead of the mass produced import crap.

ok I'll try again. I live in North Vancouver BC. I am a member of the Roverlanders club here. I had a 95 disco that I converted to a 300 tdi and r380 lifted, and a few other mods. loved it but bought a 85 defender with 95 discovery drivetrain. It has been converted to left hand as it was originally a british truck. It still needs love but is quite reliable so far. Have had a number of american 4x4's in the past but my british heritage led me to LR's. I love and ride KTM motorbikes,ride and build bicycle frames as a side and work bulding and operating submarines for a living. hope we all know each other now so any leads on some good shops to check out(preferably in the south east) would be appreciated.
