on board laptop?

With my recent flat battery saga, I think it will be prudent to by the RR a laptop (or similar) to stash in the boot loaded with Allcoms and cable.

So what minimum/cheapest is the right thing to do?

Look on ebay, a Netbook is ideal, small and light, or a secondhand Toughbook can be found for as little as £50. Steer clear of Vista, XP is better.

I've got a nice HP notebook stashed in glovebox above fuse box with mouse in little holder bit, with small invertor plugged into CIG lighter that charges it when needed

It has eBay shortcut to look for parts, RSW Allcomms and Angry birds

Sensible move to have a dedicated tool

I have All Comms on a 10" notebook running XP in a small flight case, along with wireless mouse, tape measure, torch, 3g dongle etc....

Invaluable.....
