First remove ALL interior trim including the alpine window trim ........ then you'll see a load of 10mm bolts (some up in the roof area where the rear seat belt bolts up) which all need to be removed along with the lower panel fixing bolt on the outside located just back from the rear wheel arch area ....... then remove the philips head screws which are visible when the rear load area door is open ..........

Now comes the fun bit and FFS go gently bentley  ........... you need a scraper or box knife and need to slide into the panel gaps where the seam sealer is and run it along to free the panel ............. FFS go easy or you'll distort the panel and it'll never fit right again ....... once thats done you need to disconnect the fuel filler hose, breather hose and earth strap (if your doing drivers side) and remove the rear light cluster.

Now again GENTLY pull the panel away from the body shell and jobs a good'un ;)

Any probs let me know and i'll try to help if i can ;)

I find an hacksaw blade sharpened up on the old grinder works really well. Just wrap some gaffa tape round the bottom to form an handle. I used to have a chunk of blade off a big engineering hacksaw about 2" wide I ground all the teeth away and sharpened it up. Great for Panel removing and getting old gaskets etc of mating faces..

Yep there the ones. Last one I had was about 2" wide. But the normal ones are still good for slipping between the panel to cut the sealant away nice & thin and flexible.

Be jasus i bet the fuel economy is good on yer landy theres no bloody metel left just rust if you manage to sort it out you deserve a god dam medal yer a braver man than me mate. I thought my landy was ready for the scrap heap needing welding on rear wheel inner arches and one inner sill.

Phew!!! good luck with that one, I seem to remember someone posting some pictures of his welding ability during the week (Cannot remember his name), give him a shout and see if he can help 8>)

Well chaps that Disco is now being broken up as i have a new one that needed the engine replacing .............
