Old landy petrol engine

Hi sorry its a vauge post as i hate those ,but i know nothing about older landrovers ,please tell me if its just a waste of time ,i wont be offended .

My friend has an engine from an old landrover , all i know is its complete and runs fine .
Its a 2 and a quarter litre ( ive never heard of such a thing )

the price is , i dont know but you tell me ?

Its surplus and needs to go . ,i can photo it on sunday the 8th as thats the next time im going down there .
It is currently in a 1920's car , but a propper chevy motor has been located

Would anyone on here be interested ?

Ill ask him what he wants for it but neither of us have a clue , he has a huge place with lots of interesting stuff ,petrol head . But i dont think he wants to just give it away ,he has also asked me to rehome a wooden framed full size pinball machine which is heavier than the bloody engine !

Do a good search on google. Find out what it is. It could be worth more than you think, if it is a rare GM engine, could be worth several hundred quid
