I've tried to get a pic but it wont load of my stoopid phone...
i've got some massive stud thing stuck in my tyre...
I daren't hoof pick it out cos i'm sure it'll go flat and apart from my bike , it's the only wheels i've got till Fri ..

Is my tyre gonna be knackered or can they be repaired ...i know i should know this but ok ...

I'm panicing AGHHHHHHHHH!

only if you constantly whistle.. if you stop whistling at any point then the tyre will catch on and explode

If it's in the tread pattern and not too close to the edge, then it should be repairable.
If it's in the sidewall, or close to the edge, then it's new tyre time.

It is most likely repairable, but change it ASAP to avaoid damaging it beyond repair.

Ok I might cycle to work tomorrow then change the wheel weds on my day off , got a lovely socket set instead of an Easter egg this year , now I'm wishing I got one of those nice long wheel nut wrenches as I'm now faced with only the kit that came with the 90 , scissor jack etc:(

dont take the damaged tyre to the well known high street tyre repair stealers who will want to replace the tyre whether it can be repaired or not....

they did it to 1 of mine, took the tyre off said it was illegal, nail too close to side wall and refused to put it back on...my car doesnt have a spare so i was fooked....had to buy a new 1 from them ...

my stepson - an MOT tester saw the photos and thought otherwise !

+1 to first bit

here's the little blighter ...it'll be a gamble as to whether it's just as deep as the knobbly bit or whether it goes deeper ...but as i haven't a clue to what it actually is ( i.e if it was a nail head , i'd have a reasonable idea to how long the shaft is) , think i'd best go with the wheel change ....or i could take a chance and try and remove it myself ..choices choices ..
