L322 Ok need some help as I am struggling

hi i hope some one can help me out with this i have a range rover l322 3.0l td6 02
Ok so the engine was smoking bad and The 2nd cylinder piston ring was dead so i got a 2nd hand engine and fitted it with lots of problems as the engine was in and out 3 times then wean I got it back together the car would not move full stop and that was on me as the last time I put the engine in i left the Torque converter on the engine so that was me and it killed the gearbox oil pump so I weant and got a new one and a new Torque converter and new filter and oil and fitted them and got the car back together now i have very little drive in drive i have drive in sports mode but not great but reverse is amazing i have the right oil i have filled it right ther is no fault coads the battery is 6 months old its got 11.6v will be putting that on charge tonight can some one please advise me on wear to go next and forgot wean i 1st put the oil in and weant Through the gears i got a kicking Sound from the gear Box as i weant back to p and the box was a reconditioned one 18 months ago and was running great before hand please help as I have put a lot of funds and time in and still don't have her back on the road thanks

If it's stemmed from gearbox and he can't help, then you're knackered with a capital F

Please don't say that I don't no wear or what to do next

You mentioned in your previous threads that you drove it or atleast tried to drive it with a incorrectly seated converter and secondly a ruined pump, it is possible you nuked the clutches in the box..
A lack of line pressure in the box with cause the clutches to slip, in simple terms.

Which in the grand scheme of things aren't robust anyway..

I'd drop the oil pan and check for debris, similarly the filter, if it can be dissected that would be worth doing to..

More than likely due a rebuild.

Was going to put the sump off and check it out and pull the Sevens out and clean them to and check for damage and yes I did try to drive it for 2 or 3 minutes then stopped as it was not moving and pulled it apart i will just keep on trying as I don't have the funds for a new box or a rebuild if I can get the parts I will try and sort it i just can't stand not doing the job wean I start i need to sort it or it will drive me insane

2 or 3 minutes is all it takes to trash the box
