Oil wear indicator

Hi There to anybody listening....

My oil wear indication came on (oil service, go to dealer, do not pass go), not to be confused with service interval (that can easily be reset by us punters).

Question, how do I reset it ?... I can't find any piece of kit (scanner) that does it... Does anybody have any idea, or perhaps know the OBD PID to reset it ?

Pretty sure its a diagnostic reset only, unless you mean the oil warning light, in which case put some oil in it and it'll go off

How d is the car?

Doesn't have a DPF?

If so then the oil warning for service has come on due to diluted oil with diesel due to the DPF regen process.
I suggest changing the oil and filter and getting the reminder reset via the diagnostic kit
