Disco 2 Oil Pan change, 4.0 V8 Discovery 2 (2004)

Hello all,
I need to change the oil pan on my new mistress. But before buying a replacement, is the oil pan the same on a diesel and a petrol? Just so I know that I am buying the right/wrong thing. I can't find the answer so far.
Any help most appreciated.
