Oil leaking from turbo?

Hello.
New to defender ownership. I have a 2007 110 300tdi.
On the mot today they said it had an oil leak. On closer inspection looks like it’s coming the from the turbo.

There is a newish pipe connected to it.

I am ‘Fairly’ competent with engines but no expert.

should I replace that hose ?
Thoughts ?

I'd replace the two copper washers first, either side of the connection and torque it up to the correct torque.

Is that not a td5?

It does look like a TD5 turbo, but then it is a long time since I have looked at my 300tdi engine and turbo which is very different from a 200 tdi anyway
But if his banjo is leaking that would account for it running all over the connection etc. as you say, downhill!

Maybe a PO fitted a TD5 into it.

It was the spinner filter that gave it away

I cannot remember the last time I saw a 300 disco on the road down this way, even the td5 discos seem to be getting thin on the ground.

As said it's likely to be that banjo/feed bolt on the top.
Its a lot easier to get at than the lower/return pipe...
